Audience Research Survey Results Displayed in Charts and Graphs
I have used Surveymonkey to display the majority of the feedback results, however I transfer the data to an excel document, a software which allows the creation of easy to read and unique graphs to be made using its variety of variations depending on the suitability of the question and type of recorded data.
2. What is your gender?
3. What is your occupation?
4. How often do you attend the cinema?
5. Do you enjoy horror films?
6. If yes, what is your favourite subgenre(s)?
7. Do you keep up to date with the latest film releases?
8. If yes, by which means of media platform(s)?
9. Who do you watch films with?
10. What do you expect from horror films?
Question 8: if yes, by which means of media platform(s)?
Question 6: if yes, what is your favourite sub genre(s)?
These allowed us to research our targeted audience, to find out what they are most interested in and most likely to do in relation to seeing advertisement and thoughts on horror genre films. It is clear to see from the results that thirller/drama is the most popular horror sub genre of our targeted audience, whilst supernatural is the second highest voted. Taking these recorded results into consideration we aim to make our originally planned supernatural horror trailler to have thiller elements and characteristics to attract and appeal to a wider audience.
